Office Ease sells office chairs, desks and the small parts that fix a bad setup, shipped flat from Salem, Oregon to anywhere in the United States. Prices run from $13 for a cable tray to $390 for a desk and chair bundle.
Why we started
Office furniture is sold on adjectives. Ergonomic, premium, executive. None of those words tell you whether a chair drops low enough for someone 5 ft 2, or whether a sit stand desk actually reaches 46 in for someone 6 ft 4. So we publish the numbers instead: seat height ranges, travel ranges, weight ratings, in inches and pounds, on every product page.
What we will tell you that a shop will not
- A manual crank desk is cheaper, and most people stop using the crank within a week.
- A single motor desk is fine for two monitors. You do not need dual unless the top is wide or the load is heavy.
- If your desk is an inch too high, a $33 footrest fixes it. You do not need a new desk.
- A chair with fixed arms set too high is worse for your shoulders than a chair with no arms at all.
Where the price comes from
- It ships flat. A boxed desk costs a fraction of an assembled one to freight.
- No showroom. We hold stock in the warehouse and sell online.
- Standard hardware across the range, which is why spare parts cost us almost nothing.
- One finish per product, so nothing goes through the line twice.
The honest trade off
These are laminated tops on steel frames and mesh backs on nylon bases, not solid hardwood and cast aluminium. They will do five to ten years of daily use. If you want something that outlasts three jobs, spend four times as much elsewhere and we will not be offended.
